Hello! I'm Sandra, an industrial engineer specialized in Mechatronics, with a strong background in mechanical design and a strong interest in solving complex engineering challenges through structured analysis and practical solutions.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, specialized in Electronics and Automation, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology Engineering, specialized in Mechanics. Throughout my career, I have worked on multidisciplinary engineering projects within the aerospace and renewable energy sectors, gaining experience across the full engineering lifecycle—from concept and design to manufacturing support.
Currently, I work at Airbus Defence and Space as a Metallic Structures Analysis Engineer. My role includes structural stress analysis, design definition and modification approval, and close collaboration with manufacturing engineering for the MRTT (Multi Role Tanker Transport) program and its derivatives.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
My engineering journey began at university, where I joined the Formula Student team. There, I gained hands-on experience designing and manufacturing racing vehicle components, developing a strong foundation in practical engineering, teamwork, and iterative design.
Since then, I have continued to grow through a series of technical roles:
Beyond my professional work, I am actively involved in the IEEE community. I currently serve as President of the IEEE-HKN Nu Alpha Chapter, an international honor society that promotes academic excellence, leadership, and professional development among engineers.
