‍PPAP WRITER FOR PARTS HOMOLOGATION

At Microdeco, my first engineering role placed me in the Quality Assurance department within the automotive sector, where I was responsible for the homologation and approval of customized mechanical components based on detailed technical drawings and client specifications.

‍

• Performed quality control tasks such as visual inspections, dimensional verification with conventional tools, and precision measurement using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
• Led the preparation and submission of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation, ensuring that all parts met industry standards and client requirements.
• Maintained direct communication with customers, addressing questions and providing technical clarifications during the approval process.

This role gave me my first exposure to industrial processes, as well as a strong foundation in metrology, quality systems, and client-facing technical communication.

Key Achievement:

• Set a company record for part approvals in a single month by implementing a streamlined homologation workflow, significantly improving efficiency and documentation accuracy.

‍

Through this experience, I developed a methodical, detail-oriented approach to engineering, along with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, production-driven environments.
